Frequently Asked Questions

Is it suitable for all ages?

Yes - whether you're buying it for yourself, as a gift or for a kid. The interface is simple enough for children and the game library is deep enough for hardcore retro fans. No technical knowledge required.

What if I don't love it?

No worries - your order is covered by our 90-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason - just contact us at info@getnordvale.com and we'll issue a full refund. No long forms, no runaround.

What games are included?

Over 20,000 games across 30+ systems, including PS1, PSP, N64, SNES, NES, Mega Drive, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Atari and arcade classics. You'll find:

  • Crash Bandicoot 3
  • Pokémon Red, Blue, Emerald & FireRed
  • Tekken 5 & 6
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
  • Mario Kart 64
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3
  • Mortal Kombat 4
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

  • Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
  • Harry Potter
  • The Simpsons: Road Rage
  • Spider-Man
  • Dino Crisis 2
  • Tomb Raider
  • Metal Slug
  • FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer

Some games come in more than one regional version, so you can pick the edition you remember. Use the search above to check a specific title.

Can I add my own games?

Yes. You can add your own compatible game files to the console using the included microSD card.

Power off the console, remove the microSD card and connect it to your computer using a card reader or adapter.
Open the ROMS storage area and place your game file inside the folder for the correct system - for example PSP, PS1, GBA, N64, SNES and so on.

Insert the card back into the console and turn it on. Your added game should then appear inside its corresponding console/system library. If it doesn't appear immediately, restart the console or refresh the game list from the system settings.

Game compatibility depends on the emulator, file format and individual title, so some games may perform better than others. We also strongly recommend backing up the original microSD card before making any changes.

Does it come with controllers?

Yes. Two wireless controllers are included, so two people can play on the TV straight out of the box.
Loads of classics support 2-player gameplay, from Street Fighter and Tekken to Mario Kart 64 and FIFA.

How do I connect it to my TV?

  • Plug the included HDMI cable into the console and any HDMI port on your TV.
  • Select that input on your TV.
  • Power on the console. The picture switches to the TV automatically.

How should I charge the console?

For safe charging, please use the included USB cable and connect it to a computer/laptop USB port.
Do not charge the console using a separate wall adapter, fast charger, or high-power charging plug. Unplug the console once fully charged and avoid leaving it charging overnight or for long periods.

How does it work?

You'll be playing within 60 seconds of turning it on. No setup, no software to install. Just charge, power on and pick a game.

Can I save my progress in games?

Yes - all games allow you to save your progress, so you can pick up where you left off later.
While playing, press SELECT + START simultaneously to open the in-game menu.
Choose save to store your current progress, load to return to a saved state, or exit to return to the game library.

How do I find a specific game?

You can search for a game in the All Games library or browse by console type to find it faster. You can also save your favourite games for quicker access next time.

How long does the battery last?

The 3000mAh battery gives around 5-7 hours of play time, depending on the game and screen brightness.

How long does delivery take?

Free tracked UK delivery, 6-8 days.

How does the 90-day money back guarantee work?

We offer a 90-day risk-free trial from the date your order is delivered.

If you’re not satisfied with the product, you may return your order within 90 days for a full refund.
No return fees - we pay for the postage.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes - if your console arrives faulty or develops a manufacturing defect, contact us at info@getnordvale.com and our support team will help with a replacement or full refund.
